    I just purchased a 2008 Toyota Tundra 4x4 double cab with 4.7L V8 and 133000 miles. This is my first Toyota and I'm hoping for a truck that'll be as nice as everyone says!

    My first day of ownership got off to a literal shaky start. I live about 3 hours from Anchorage down on the Kenai peninsula and had the owner drop off this truck at the Toyota dealership for me for a full prebuyers inspection. The report came back good with just some fluids needing to be changed. I ended up purchasing the truck.

    I got a ride the next day to get the truck and about 10 minutes after driving away with it I had front end vibration while braking at highway speed. The rest of my day consisted of 3 trips to the dealership and a new set of rotors to fix the rotor warp. Apparently when they do and inspection and test drive they only take it around the block. I am now having an assortment of other issues that are beyond my current scope of knowledge.

    I wish I wasn't joining the forum under these circumstances, but I have had great help from forums in the past and hope the same from here.

    Lurking through the forums has already been a help, so thanks everyone!
