Well first door is drivers door, every time i open it there is 2 popping noises and was wondering where to start removing this inside door panel. OK 2nd door is my passenger side rear door
it will not open from the inside, when i pull on the inside handle you tell that its not
connected to anything its too free compared to the other passenger door. any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

For popping could be loose linkage, check 2 bolts with 10 mm (think) socket, black piece in pic, door side. Tightening mine stopped popping. The bolts loosen and cause noise. Can check all doors.20180520_153955.jpg

Make sure you don’t have the child safety lock engaged.

Once you remove door panel you will find two cables at the top of panel.

Make sure both are seated into the clips used for unlocking the door, and the lock clip is also firmly snapped in so the cable is not free moving.

    Hope this helps...

I had to do it on my front passenger side on my 09 Taco. Tighten up the two 10mm's and good to go.

    Now for the popping sounds.

The panel sits flush against the door frame.

Run finger along the panel and frame. One of the snaps could have come loose. If that’s the case, press panel in hard.

the snaps could be loose by the speakers.....
