In the ad for the white Tundra poster earlier they had a link to the carfax listed so I clicked on it. It was cool, detailed all the services it had had. No warranty work or big issues except oil change intervals weren't ideal. 8k multiple times... and it said it was a corporate truck. Enterprise, Avis, Hertz maybe?

In other news, why are there so many black Tundras?! No a fan because I can't keep one clean lol. Seems thats mostly what I see for sale though!

Just make sure you buy a truck with the 5.7 V8, its a hot-rod compared to the IMO still gets out of its own way if you floor it 4.6 that I have in my Tundra(got a hell of a deal on it, so the 4.6 wasn't that big of a deal). If you are towing heavy, you definitely want the bigger engine.

As for trim level, I don't know what sort of cloth seats they put in the baser models on the 2014+ trucks, but I actually preferred the cloth seats in my 2011. They are a really nice feeling cloth that wears well, they don't get hot in the summer or cold in the winter. I looked at a black on black leather truck and ruled it out because I didn't want to burn my ass every time I hopped in it for 4-5 months of the year.

That’s funny I was in a similar position. I was looking at tractors for the new house and knew I’d be pushing it towing it with the Tacoma (especially since it was lifted 33s [equivalent]) I ended up buying the tundra first lol and it’ll almost match the Kubota orange when I get to one

the single biggest mistake I made was not buying a platinum. I impulse bought and didn't realize the differences. The seat adjustments available on the plat alone would have had me spending the extra money.
