Got them on today; 3rd setting.

As I understood, it is supposed to be level at the 3rd setting. It looks like it has a slight bro lean which I am not thrilled about. Rides nice, but I really notice the extra 2 inches up front - didn’t think I would.

They will settle down , but not sure it will be enough to take some of that squat out. I am @ top setting on mine, but went with a 1 " tapered block in the rear. This left me with a slight rake.

Nice. Get some ToyTec shackles and bushings. You can get 1" or 1.5" rear lift depending on setting. Icon AAL is another option too.

A set of shackles on the rear, or add a leaf, will lift your rear 1.5 to 2 inches. Much better option than the block.

As an added note measure from center of wheel to the top of fender well. This will tell you how much you are off front to back. Also measure L and R front to see if you are lower on driver side might need to add a shim to account for Tundra lean.

You should verify that it’s not on the top setting. I have the 6112/5160 and have no lean at all. In fact if anything maybe a slight forward rake.

Edit.. I am on the 1.9 inch setting.

1.9in will be the perfect level (one below top notch). I believe the top setting actually puts you just a hair nose high. Not so much it looks bad, but it does measure high.

My 6112s at 1.9 have been "settling" for months, and my front is maybe a centimeter lower than the rear. With stuff in the bed, it drops to dead level.

If its a huge deal to you... 1) take off the 6112s and adjust, or 2) blocks/shackles in the rear to gain an inch.

Nice truck! Measure it, could be near equal ground to the top of all 4 fenders, however, the roof line and windows give the illusion of Cali lean.

Cheap easy fix are Toytec adjustable shackles (bronze bracket below on the left).

    IMG_4484.jpg

Or Coachbuilder non-adjustable shackles, comes in varying sizes.

I believe I got the last set in stock at 4wheelparts. They came missing a bushing and washer — but Bilstein sent me them.

Mind taking a pic of the front assembly when you get a chance? I think I am on the 3rd setting but it doesn’t hurt to verify!

This looks like the 3rd to me, no?

I am going to do some measuring. Not too much level ground around here to get dialed in. I may go this route. How easy to install?

Not sure, my buddy a mechanic installed a few things for me in his shop. I recommend paying a bit extra and replacing the stock poly bushings that go in the shackles, improves ride.

I can't believe the 6112 supply is so low! Any reason other than folks realizing its a great option for the money?

Bilstein makes millions on factory installed products and thousands on aftermarket shocks. So they don't care too much on keeping up on demand. Over the years we have seen this happen over and over on their 5100's. The will pump out 1,000 sets and not put out another production run for 6 months. Its sad but has happened too many times for it to be a one time inventory shortfall.

shackle would be my choice. 6112s are not adjustable without disassembling. My truck is level set at 1.9" but looks like it has some rake.

My bad dude! I thought I read you say you were on the top setting. Once those things settle for a few days, you will be perfection. I wouldn't touch the rear for now.

So the 6112's will settle more than the 5160's in the back?

The 5160s without blocks or shackles don't provide any lift, so that should stay the same. I jotted down my measurements somewhere, but can't find them... Mine definitely lowered a bit in the front over the first week or two.
