Need help this is my first tundra!!

I have a 2014 tundra and one day i turned on my car and it wouldnt shift form park looked into it and manually shifted it with the bypass but my taillights, radio, back up camera, airconditioning wouldnt work even my doors wouldnt unlock or lock theres was alot of warning lights on and got home let it sit and an hour later its working fine now it just happened again it gave me two codes one is P0705 and P0500 anyone ever had any issue like this thanx in advance for any help

 

When I first got my 2015, I did have some problem shifting it in reverse from drive a couple of times. I never had any problems like you’re describing. Hopefully someone will come a long and give you some advice.

 

Welcome Marvin. Do you have any aftermarket stuff like remote start, different alarm?

It’s hard telling, but the p0500 vss code could be causing the issue and contributing to the p0705. These could explain why the reverse lights aren’t triggering, back up camera etc. Odd the radio and air conditioning not functioning as well though.

Thanx guys for your quick help aready and 831Tun all i have changed on my car so far is the interior led lights which i got from headlight revolution but thats it eveything else is just stock however ive never owned a truck before so i dont know anything about trucks but i did notice wen i bought it that the shifter has a little too much play wen i take it out of park
