So a few days ago my 3rd light reverse light (driver side only) stopped working. This is the light above the bed on the back of the cab. I thought perhaps the led that was 30 days old or so had quit working or perhaps some moisture had gotten in when i installed the led. Yesterday the light started working again with no further glitches....

I removed the cover , made sure the lights were seated and that a seal was in place.... any ideas why it would just stop working, then start again?

Finicky bulb. I use them everywhere and have swapped every bulb I can on my 3 current vehicles. My entire interior and exterior of my toyhauler is LED now as well, mainly to save battery power though. I would safely say that 1 out of every 5 LED bulbs I have replaced either didn't work out of the package or stopped working within a very short amount of time. The ones that do work are good for a very long time and I've never had to replace one again. I have a few bulbs in my Toyota Matrix that are 3+ years old.

I would swap the bulb. These things have such small chipsets and solder connections on them that it doesn't take much to have one fail entirely or work intermittently. I've broken off diodes while installing with very little pressure.

Guessing an issue with contact between bulb and "Prongs" Do your LED's have a good conductor for contact? Some are not very pronounced, very flat on an extension of the circuit board. Also, is it the correct bulb? Some are smaller but will work.

I would guess bulb as well. I would swap bulbs and see what happens.

That is the cargo light for the bed. Are you sure you didn't hit the cargo light switch by accident?
