2018 crewmax antenna

Hello everyone, i'm new to the forum, i bought a 2018 crewmax sr5 last week, it was a few days later i noticed the bad radio reception, when i finally tried to see if it was an antenna problem all i found when i looked for where the antenna is supposed to be is a small black piece of plastic, i have a picture so you guys can see what im talking about, is this some kind of crappy antenna ? or do some trucks not come with antennas at all?

Looks like someone on the assembly forgot to do something or at the dealership, take back to dealership, Welcome from Texas

 

That might be a cover that's covering the threads where antenna screws onto see if it pulls off, maybe dealer forgot to put antenna back on when it got transported???

 

This, I remember when I bought my tundra the dealer had to put the antenna on after being transported. I think it was hiding in the glove compartment or something.

 

Welcome from Arizona. Agree with posters above, look around in the truck and if you can't find the antenna take it to the dealer.

 

That was on mine when I got it home. Antanna was rolling around under back seats. Little plastic piece just screws off and antenna screws in.
