So in all my years of driving I have never "curbed" my rims on an car/truck I've owned. It finally happened. So the damage is about 4 inches long and of course right on the edge of where the tire meets the rim. Looks like someone took a flat head screw driver and hammer to it. I'm just sick about it and I'm wondering if anyone knows if damage like this can be fixed or should I just look to someone selling one of their stock matte black rims?

sounds like a surface gouge... should be able to get repaired fairly easily. yelp a rim repair shop near you.

I’ve seen my local rim repair shop do amazing work, you shouldn’t have a problem finding one to do the same.
