I’m looking at buying a 2010 tundra. It has 126000 miles is there anything specific I should be looking for when I check it out? Or questions I should ask.

Welcome from Texas, check under whole body frame for rust, check oil leaks (cam tower leak)or any other signs, ask for maintenance records if available or get VIN # see if anything has been done to it,

I’ve got a 2010 with almost 150k. Bought it with 100k. I’ve since replaced valve cover gasket, rear wheel bearings, and brakes. I also had the air injection pump replaced under warranty.

262... so are you happy with it? They want 13k for it. I’m going to look at it tomorrow.

13K doesn't sound too bad if visual inspection and CarFax come clean...SR5? DC or CrewMax, 4X4 or 2WD?

I am. Mine is a 4wd limited with the 5.7. This truck has done everything I’ve asked of it and, all things considered, it’s holding up much better than anything else I’ve owned with comparable mileage.

If it has a plastic bed liner, ask to check underneath it to look for bed rust. Is it a 4.6 or 5.7? I sold my 2010 5.7 Limited to my mom with 78k because I was so sure of its mechanical soundness. There is the cam tower leak that messes with some of the 5.7 motors, but if you are looking and you see it, you can ask them to fix it. By looking on here you would think it was a very common problem....but I am on my third tundra with no issues. My personal opinion :crapstorm:is that there is such few things that go wrong with these trucks that when there is an issue, it becomes a big deal.

It doesn't seem too bad of price, a lot depends on your area. Book it out NADA, Kelly Blue Book, also other Tundras on the Market. How Clean is it? As mentioned CarFax always good reference.

Always offer a bit less. Tax, Title, License fees? In Texas would take $13K closer to $14K

    Good Luck!
