So what's the difference between the two? Does one work better than the other?

The xact contour are a soft rubber and are very squishy imo. When you step on them and turn your foot, the mat squishes and moves a little bit.

The weatherbeater are a harder plastic but they are not slipperey.
I originally bought the xact contour but returned them because i hated the squishy feel. Now i have the weatherbeater gray... gray lightens up the black interior which i wanted.

I had thought about doing the same, going gray versus black. Still thinking about it. Interesting that the harder plastic is not as slippery. Seems like that would be the opposite.

Um. The harder "plastic-y" Husky Weatherbeaters ARE more slippery than the more rubbery Husky X-Act Contours, BUT they're not slippery in a way that causes you to slip. Make sense? They're just 2 very different options. For off-roading, I prefer the X-act Contours. If I had a pristine mall-crawler and wanted all detail-perfect, I'd choose the Weatherbeaters because they have a very OEM, new, slick appearance, which is easy to maintain.

I’ve had both and prefer the Huskys. The weathertechs are fine but I’ve had problems with fitment as other have had on here.
