finally went to the dark side and bought my first foreign vehicle. Had Silverado’s and f150s in the past. Most recent was a 2013 f150 5.0. New ride is a 2018 double cab with trd off road pkg. it’s like going from a timex to a Rolex.

Better check your sources. That truck was built in San Antonio, Texas, around an engine built in Alabama. More "American" than Ford or Chevy these days. Never apologize again; you did the right thing. And welcome from SoCal!

Welcome! Sharp looking truck. Join the club, I also just traded a '13 F-150 (ecoboost) for a 2018 Tundra. I went through a bit of an identity crisis myself having never had any truck other than a Ford lol. I gotta say I got over that on the way home from the dealer :D These are exceptional trucks, you won't be disappointed.

I thought my previous 300C with a 6.1L Hemi was as Detroit as it gets but turns out they make them in Canada eh... Tundras are built in San Antonio, Texas my friend not somewhere in Mexico or Canada like the others. Congratulations

    Welcome!!!

Told ya guys, all big 3 buyers think Tundra is foreign. I went through identity crises when I bought the Tundra.

You foreign truck owners aren’t just patriotic enough (they think)

I like Timex actually. Just Timex's not made by Ford.

Had some stuff starting to be troublesome on the Ford I had so Spent a couple months researching all the new offerings & came to the conclusion
Tundra just seemed like a better fit for me. Plus I scored a super deal on the tundra. Got it for 15% off msrp

Good looking truck. I've gone back and forth over the past decade and I am now back in a Tundra. They are just, IMHO, better than the rest of them. You made a good choice.
