So I’m planning my next truck and I’ve decided to go to the more useful then looks route. I have a 7 inch bds lift now and I know it’s not as off-road capable being a bracket lift compared to just a suspension lift. I’ve been looking and want to get one of the Icon complete suspension packs for my next one. I guess my question is will the Icon stage 5 or 6 packages be good for my uses?? I want the truck to be as excellent performing off-road as possible while getting the most lift possible to please my taste as far as looks go. Those packages include I believe a whole set of new leafs and remote resi shocks for the rear and coil overs up front along with UCAs. I won’t need blocks for the rear correct? And that would be about the same as a 3/1 level kit as far as lift heighth goes?

Basically tell me what to buy to have my truck fully capable and badass off road and look great haha I appreciate all the input!

Go with the ICON stage 6. The difference it it and the stage 5 is that the shocks are adjustable..

And that means my local off-road shop can tune them to my specific uses correct? I’ll read that thread right now. But does everyone agree that icon would be a solid choice? And will I still be getting a good amount of lift with no blocks or spacers?

ICON solid choice YES. What I mean by adjustable is they have dampening controls on them. You simply turn the knob. Now as far as height adjustability, the fronts are adjustable using a spanner wrench. You can do that yourself but the front end needs to be lifted off the ground. I have a Stage 6 and upgraded the rear leaf springs to the RXT pack. its much softer than the add a leaf. Contact SDHQ. They are the best

I'm weighing the options of Icon Stage 6 for adjustable but not 30 clicks adjustable like the omega in the stage 7. ADS 3.0 with 2.5 rear and Deaver u748. Or Icon 3.0, and 2.5 rear. Not considering King because the time it takes to even get a response is horrid.

If you are not doing serious offroading I was advised to not go with the Icon 3.0. Much much stiffer shocks

comes with an add a leaf. But SDHQ will help you out if you want to upgrade to the RXT. Trust me, I drove since June on the add a leaf that come with the stage 6, and when they recently came out with the RXT I got it and Wow at the difference. No more be bounce.

The RXT is a little softer and better off-road then?

Awesome man thanks for all the info. So last question, as far as height I’ll be at about the same as a 3/1 leveling kit correct?

You will not need blocks for sure. The RXT is going to give you about 1.5 to 1.75" in the rear alone. The front coilovers are adjustable and I added about .5" of preload over how they ship them for the look I wanted. It is a great setup.
