With all I've seen online about frame rust and other parts rusting, I now have rust OCD. A few weeks back I got a can of fluid film and sprayed my leaf springs that had some surface rust.

I love this stuff, anything showing the slightest bit of rust, bam, I am giving it some Fluid Film love. I am trying to avoid the rubber boots. Is there anything I should avoid spraying with fluid film?

Don't believe it will hurt anything I use it for alot of stuff. I spray the inside of my quarter panels of my car's that I drive in the salt every year a half of a can in each quarter panel.
