Hey guys. I have a 08’ limited with the jbl none nav head unit. Anyone have issues with their aux input? Mine is intermittently not working.

    -Sometimes it’s fine
-Sometimes it just stops like I unplugged it only I didn’t
-Sometimes it works but sounds super crackley and the sound is quieter than normal.

I’ve tried different aux cables. I’m not wanting to replace the head unit as I’m not a fan of the way aftermarket look. I’m hoping there is some kind of hack or something someone knows of. Thanks

I bet that the wires connecting to the receptacle have either come off or the contacts inside are stretched out and not making good contact with the male end. Similar to when a cigarette lighter outlet fails its usually just stretched out.

Thanks. Once it warms up outside a bit I’ll try pulling the dash apart and investigating
