    I'm not sure if this will help, but here's a couple of pics of the wiring after they installed the Putco Blade. Hard to tell what they did for I'm not sure what the stock wiring plug looked like before the install. As mentioned above, the Putco mounts with brakets which do may it easy to remove if needed. However, they mounted mine low enough that I can still get the rod through the hole to lower the spare without removing the Putco. Hope this helps!

    How did the adapter work? I have a 2017 Tundra SR5 Crew Cab and also want to install one of these bars but would want to keep it clean and use one of these adapters if they work. Thanks much.

    I wonder why the price difference between Opt-7 and Putco. $49 vs $176. Is the Putco that much better?

    Not nearly enough room here!
    0414181101.jpg After some YouTube and E-Bay searches, I decided on Putco's Lightbar. The 'solid' looking LED's, clips that allow removal and since my truck still has Amber Flashers,I wanted the LED flashers Amber too.
