thoughts on this set up? i have rock warriors with 285 70 17 duratracs now. i was considering moving up to an 18 but the RWs are starting to grow on me (forged, strong, light weight, better ride over an 18 ect...) so if i keep them i want more tire. dont want to stuff a 35 under there and worry about rubbing. so looks like a 305 70 is a good compromise. right now the front is stock pro suspension but ill be adding 1 shim on each side to compliment my +2 shackles i have. anybody run this set up or something similar? from all the looking it looks like it will fit fine. thanks

That will put you around 33.8". You might have to remove mudflaps if anything but you won't hit the cab mount with that offset and size.

Oh, wait, you're going to be awfully close to your UCA's with that width and offset. Might get someone to confirm you won't rub it. Personally, I would just go a little bigger and narrower and deal with a little rubbing. Like maybe 295/75/17 if you can find that size. That would put you at about 34.4 and get you away from the UCA.

I'm really liking the ridge grappler. Looking at nittos site they do make a 285 75 17, that would be tehe exact height of the 305 70 (33.86") but an inch narrower. im on a 285 now so i know it clears. whats confusing is they offer the 285 75 in both a C and E rated tire. the E rated has a higher psi, 80 vs 50, a higher load rating, 3195 vs 2835, but the tire itself weighs less. seems odd. plus the 285 might fit the 8" wide wheel better

bringing this back up to see if there is any other thoughts. now im looking at the toyo at2. they have both a 305 70 and a 285 75 in 17" sizes. both are the same height, 33.9", but the 305 is about an inch wider at 12.2" vs 11.3". weight is the same on both.
RW wheels are +50mm offset but i am not opposed to adding a small spacer to bring it out to +25mm or +30mm if that would help make life easier. thanks in advance
