Adding a inline fuel filter

    Hello, is there a mod that anyone has completed in adding a external inline fuel filter? Either 26 gallon or 38 gallon. All two Tacoma's have them mounted on the frame below drivers door (1995,2001). Also, has anybody modified the sheet metal directly over the pump for access. I do keep 3 Toyota trucks and one Lexus, until they die, but have never been there yet.
    Any suggestions are welcome especially with pictures.
