    Was pretty much set on buying Kings. I did more research and ADS came up, seems to be a pretty good quality product. Anyone on here have any experience with ADS?

    Both are good choices, King is the larger name hands down but ADS seems to make a real nice product. I looked into getting some from them a little while back and was having a hard time getting my hands on some....

    Where's the tits and ass? Oh...shock stuff.

    You won't be disappointed with either. ADS started out as a King copy, and then added some of their own unique features. But for all intensive purposes they are a near copy. King gives you some options when you buy a shock. Meaning they have variations of internals and parts you can get depending on your wants/needs. ADS on the other hand doesn't offer them up so much as "options," rather they are standard features. Some of these include:

    Triple seal on seal cap (unique to ADS..very cool seal design that doesn't create additional shaft resistance)
    Cadmium plated and ceramic clear coat finish (IMO the best shock body finish on the market belongs to ADS. That said, I have snow and shit on the ground 3-4 months out of the year and my Kings are still just fine).
    7075 aluminum piston (6061 on King)
    Your choice of hard chromed or nitrosteel shaft
    Teflon bronze wear band (also standard on King)
    Additional o-ring groove/seal on the piston for better seal (optional upgrade on King)

    Ok thanks, seems like I can't go wrong with either one. Do you think I can have Downsouth Motorsports valve the Kings to your spec? Seems like the way you valved yours would make it ride better for a daily driver.

    There's no difference in a piggyback vs RR. They are the same thing. A piggyback is just a RR that doesn't have a flexible hose.

    Thanks for all the advice, ended up going with the ADS. I like that it came with a little more option on their OEM set up.

    ADS still lacks a nice website with all the listed goodies, DSM was supposed to have something up soon but everything with ADS is abit slow. You pretty much have a one man operation when it comes to marketing, but Matt at MCM does a good job there when you message/call him.
