I also have the hidden bumper brackets from Rago as well. I’ll be installing soon when I find a light bar for them

My rago's sat low enough to the hood I had to use shorter mounting bolts on the lights. Exactly what I wanted. Was surprised that they sit so low that they are not distracting at all. Extremely happy and would definitely buy again.

Ok, maybe a stupid question, but I noticed the SDHQ brackets have a rubber bumper, but the Rago brackets don't, is there some jiggle in the Rago brackets that the rubber bumper helps with?

Rago's are original, as in first place. SDHQ products are good but ditch brackets apparently need some assitance.

As in all ditch light brackets need some assistance or just the SDHQ ones need assistance?

My Rago brackets fit perfect. I'm not sure where this rubber bumper would go on the SDHQ brackets? Do you have a picture? I just browsed their website and can't find a good example.

The Rago brackets are a perfect bolt on with no rubbing and no trimming.

I would suppose that all ditch brackets are susceptible to vibrations. I recently ordered a set of Rago's and will find out soon enough if being the first design is the best. I was being overly sarcastic before. SDHQ appears to offer decent off road goodies!!

Not too sure about that rubber bumper either.

There are absolutely no vibrations with the Ragos. They are solid. Don't know what this bumper is you're talking about but can't imagine the SDHQ's vibrating neither.

You can see the bumper in the design drawing, looks like it presses against the hood and would keep the bracket from contacting the hood during "agressive" driving.

I also have the Rago’s with no problems. They’re fantastic people to work with too, they used my truck to develop the bed stiffeners and I’ve been working with them for some FJ stuff also. Can’t recommend them enough, watching Mario (Rago metal ninja) work with metal is amazing. Very talented fella.

We utilize a rubber damper so that during off-roading, there is no major flex or "jumping lighting". It also helps stabilize the heavier lights as we design them to withstand harsh off-road conditions while utilizing up to a 6.7" Vision X light cannon on most models, even bigger on the larger truck applications.

The rubber bumper pushes against the hood on the underside. I will get a couple pictures posted for you.

If you believe that they were the originators, that would be false. We have been making A-Pillars pre-2010 but they became production pieces in 2009-2010. I believe Rago opened their doors 2013?

I wouldn't claim anybody as the originators/originals, but ours have been around the block a little longer.

I have had the rago installed for a few weeks now. Absolutely solid. Doubt they would be any different with heavier lights. More than satisfied with my purchase.

I stand corrected, maybe. My info was taken from a fellow forum member's post. It basically comes down to who made the first cheese burger. You have a lot of members here that think you guys are also providing great products and service and I'm sure you do. I tend to trust what most members post. I'll take your word for it. :oldglory:

Can you elaborate on the relay box. So this can be used for multiple sets of lights?
