    Ok so I go to my local Toyota dealership looking to treat myself to a new TRD shift knob. I was expecting to pay around $100 since I've seen it online (ebay,Amazon) for that price. Much to my surprise, dealer quoted me $140. Now I'm not a total cheapskate, I am willing to pay, but I did mention to them I found the same shift knob online for $100. He warned me of knock-off TRD shift knobs sold on the sites listed above. So is this dealership price hikes or should I go and get it online and hope its not a knock-off.

    For those who've bought a TRD shifter knob, how much did you pay, if I may ask.

    Been looking at them also on ebay. Ranging in price from $84-$100+. I think you are pretty safe if it says oe. If you're concerned, just make sure they accept returns, in case you aren't satisfied.

    Thx guys, just ordered it through eBay. $96.00, I know it's not a huge difference in price but didnt want to get taken by dealership price gauging. Can't wait to get a quote on a TRD exhaust system!

    You definitely would have been taken advantage of if you paid $140. As far as the exhaust, if your willing to change it yourself, you can by a new system on eBay for $1100.
