Hey guys this is a general question about timing and cams on a tundra. This is a hypothetical I'm not going to turn my Cam all the way around. But while doing my Timing belt. My cam did move which brought up the question.

If I was to rotate the Cam by itself. All the way around to TDC twice. would one revolution on the Cam equal 1 revolution inside on the valves? is there half revolutions? So when your camshaft lines up on the TDC mark it is always at TDC? I hope this question makes.

    The TDC is always TDC.

A cam is geared to turn half the speed of the crankshaft.

That makes sense that's why the cams are larger than the crankshaft. Thank you for answering this question first Gen Tundra!!
