buddy bought new fog light kit

Truck doesn’t have fog light housing bezel only dummy plastic. New fogs bolt in directly to dummy spot.

Truck has fog light harness by wheel housing

Truck doesn’t have foglight fuse relay in engine fuse box

Steering wheel headlight stalk has on and off only for headlight. Nothing there for foglight independence.

If he plugs up new fogs into factory harness, buy new foglight fuse relay and plug into engine fuse box, will there be fog-light??

Will he need turn signal headlight fog stalk by the steering column?

Send me all the signals my tundrians......

There's a post on this somewhere, but yes, he'll need to install the new stalk with the fog light switch on it.

Wow. Short of getting a new stalk, would the new relay alone work with the existing stalk, and he’s all lit up with the aftermarket?

I read your response, but a new stalk??

Well, you don't have a switch w/o the stalk so no way to complete the circuit. It might be easier to wire the fogs into an aftermarket switch. But that would mean abandoning all the OEM fog wiring. Or, if you wanna use the OEM wiring, you need to locate the terminal where the stalk "plugs" in, determine which are the fog wire and run those to an aftermarket switch.

It would only work if you tie the fog lights switch wire into the wire that triggers the headlights on the existing stalk. Then when you turn the headlights on, the fog lights would come on. Just have to figure out what wires they are.
