Curious about my T100 issue that just started on way up here to work..truck would pull hard to left for a brief second or two then back to normal..felt like it was hydroplaning..steering linkage looks n feels tight when crawled under..need to jack up take wheels off see if hubs or bearings bad...so last 2 miles coming to work I drove under 20mph and still truck pulling to left bad..then I heard a metal pop..checked cudnt see anything..drove slow truck was not pulling anymore..got to work made a turn then backed up made turn another metal pop.. checked under the CV boot CV axle next to tire metal ring broke off and ball bearings fell out...I asked a mechanic buddy if the shaft went out would it make truck pull hard to one side? This true? Anybody had this happen?

I’ve never had that happen yet, but I’m thinking you need to stop driving it and replace the CV joint that has failed.

    Don’t drive far!

Last week alone I saw two lifted trucks - not Toyota, and their wheels were at positive 45 degree ...... snapped..... and in the shoulder.

Axle surgery is not hard with the right tools...
