Puddle light won't work with aftermarket remote ...Help

    any one have any idea how to fix this . After installing after market remote alarm my puddle outside mirror light not working but my dome light works fine .

    Do the lights work if you use the factory remotes? I would check and see if a fuse is blown

    It's a light that comes on , on the exterior door when you remote unlock your car .

    Ok my thought is its the way the locks are being integrated. Some of the bypass modules control the locks and some do not. Without knowing exactly what you have in the truck and how it is programmed I couldn't be sure. Just guessing here but I think that may be part of it. I would check programming of your bypass module.

    Hope this is not a common thing? Mine gets remote start installed tomorrow!
    I will let them know ahead of time that I would like all the lights to work with the new remote.
