Interesting stuff. I'm glad there's gonna be a 4th Gen. Read somewhere that it might not happen. I hope they take as long as they need. No need to rush. (FIRST TIME QUALITY!) Me personally I don't like all the bells & whistles, to much that can go wrong. I love my Tundra, little disappointed in the stereo, but got over that. It does the job. I would like to see them step it up on the stereo system, headlights, and I think sprayed-in bed liner should be standard. Thanks for the post Jose

most likely 2020 or 2021. Maybe hybrid engine but the days of the 5.7L V8 are counted imo

I'm calling it now... the V35A-FTS or similar engine from the Lexus LS 500 will be available on the next Tundra.

I’d much prefer they steal a high-HP gas engine from Lexus and adapt it to a pickup than introduce a hybrid. Not that I’ll probably buy one until a few years after they introduce it, but just my opinion.

    None, yet....
It is... The truck is built in San Antonio and the engine is built in Alabama. Its something like 75% American made, + or - a couple. I think its either the #1 or #2 most american made truck. How more american can it get?

The link the OP provided stated that a new facility in Baja Mexifornia, as in south of the US border, may be used to build the "new" Tundra along with Tacoma. "Possibly". All of us here know where our Tundras are made. Toyota would have to make a major expensive expansion at the San Antonio facility that is already at capacity.
