Did you install the sound deadening insulation. I hear these are great, but very loud.

No I did not, it does make some noise but you really only hear it if your outside by it. I figure if I can hear it I know its locked. Never did on past trucks either,

I need a fabulous garage. I don't have Tundra envy, because I've got one, but I seriously need to upgrade my garage....

Not really. It's been repurposed for storage so long, I forget that's what it was built to be. Also, it's not long enough to fit the Tundra. :(

But, I guess it's good, I have storage space for my very small house!

That looks great!! I have chrome bumpers and would love to have them black. How well does wrapping them hold up? Also, my honeycomb grill is grey, how would I go about getting it black? Do I buy a replacement or can it be painted?

Thanks! The vinyl holds up great. as far a the grill goes, I'm sure it could be painted. Some guys on here have painted theirs. Mine is dark grey and it matches my wheels real good.

Added a an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 today. This is the 5th different type of cover that I’ve had on various trucks. Hoping its simplicity is the answer, very happy with the ease of install.

Pics? Did you have to move the deck railing for it to fit?

Just don't tighten it too tight. They have a tendency to collapse a bit where the front bolts attach if tightened too tight. Otherwise I like it a lot.

I’ll try to get a pic up tomorrow when it’s daylight. No, I did not need to remove the railing. That was the main reason I went with the Solid Fold.

The dealer was trying to push me towards the undercover. Stated that it was more weatherproof. I’m not sure any of the tri-folds will be completely weatherproof so I went with the least invasive in terms of mounting to the bed. I like the idea of taking the cover completely off in seconds if I need the whole bed. I had a bakflip on my F150 that folded all of the way against the cab. It was good for 2.5 years and then began leaking more and more. I think the low profile is nice, but it started to show it’s age after sitting in the sun for a few years.
