Need to vent (Update)

Just need to vent for a second here, so bare with me. So I ordered my wheels and tires from RimzOne on Dec 1st. They shipped them on Dec 8th. Since then, its gone completely to shit. Originally supposed to arrive last Friday. Look at this tracking info. I mean, wtf?!?!?! UPS is killing me.

 

Sorry bud. I’ve read that due to all of the online purchasing going on, all parcel deliveries are delayed since FedEx and UPS are overwhelmed.

 

Doesn't look too terrible for Xmas and weather delays. Be thankful it didn't fly out of Atlanta. I ordered a set Saturday,was told 2 weeks for build and ship. I figure 30 days or so. If its less bonus. Hope they arrive soon for you, I agree waiting is tough.

 

I know a few people with similar situations relative to online shopping/shipping this year.

Locally UPS rents a ton of box trucks and hires extra employees but I'm sure their workload gets unmanageable about now.

I hope you get them quick!

 

Its all good. I just am super impatient since I put the lift on 2 weeks ago and want to get the new shoes on. Never seen 3 separate delays on 1 shipment before.

FedEx is no better. They delivered my parts to the local Toyota dealership instead of to my address because the box had "Toyota" stamped on it. Of course the dealership claims to know nothing about it even though it's their employee name on the receiving signature.

 

There's a lot of temp workers this time of year. Had some boxes "delivered to front door" at my house that never showed up. I had the UPS manager contact the driver who said that he put them right in front of the glass storm door. Problem is, I do not have a storm door. Driver delivered them next door neighbor's house. He swore up and down that he delivered 'em. Yup, he delivered 'em alright, but not to me. I went next door and got the packages that were mine mixed in with my neighbor's and we had a good laugh. Oh well.

Wheels and tires have arrived. I will be dropping them off at tire shop here in about an hour to get TPMS swapped. Pics to follow.

Well props to UPS. Ordered the pro grill on the 19th, shipped 20th, arrived today the 22nd. Stuck working 12s until 1600 on Monday so it'll have to wait till then to go on. Standing by for your wheel pics.
