Brand new to this forum and picking up some great info! I recently Traded a 2015 Tacoma for an awesome 2014 Tundra and I'm so glad I did. I mostly went to the 4x4 Tundra to pull my boat up the slip at the marina, but NOW since we have it, we are considering an ultra light travel trailer as well! I'm researching the stats as far as what I can comfortably pull, but today was looking at
some small fifth wheelers instead. Anyone have any input on if that's something I'd be wise to do? Glad to have found you all, and looking forward to learning things the EASY way instead of the expensive HARD way!

Welcome to the site. The Tundra is just full of awesomeness. You'll find out.

I would really do some research on pulling 5th wheel trailers with 1/2 tons. Where you located? If your in CO, you can test out my 28' TT to get a taste of towing with the Tundra.

Thanks to all! I'm working on getting my pic uploaded. I'd love to take you up on that offer in Co., but I'm here in N.C. How do you find pulling that 28 footer? How much does it weigh?

Congrats on the new truck and welcome to the forum!

I haven't towed anything significant so I can't help you out. @ColoradoTJ learned the limits of his Tundra and went with a diesel to better suit his needs. The Tundras are big trucks, but they can't compare to the HD's when it comes to heavy towing.

There is a whole "towing" forum in here I'm sure you will be able to get proper feedback from guys who frequently tow with decent loads.

    Good luck with the truck!
