Maybe TRD will go at the Tundra hard again....never know.

This is such a small market of people to advertise to. The last Raptor I looked at was over 70k. Not sure what the ol' Shelby experience will set one back, but I can most likely guess 40-60K. That is some coin for a new truck that I would not want to go bombing into the desert with it. They are capable, I have driven modded ones...hard. They are impressive to say the least if you take the craptastic SVT shocks off.

For that money, I would be looking hard at really having some fun:

Ouch....screw that starting tag of $117

I’ll just get a platinum, pop in 20k of mods and it’ll be able to run circles around that POS.

    $117 for a glorified f150??
Gotta be kidding me.....of course...there’s an ass for every seat.

My ass ain’t gonna be in that seat!!

Why not build a truck like this?

Not to be a buzz killer.
My thoughts are very few buyers are willing to take a mortgage for a truck aka- a rapidly depreciating asset. Trucks like this are in niche market for those with crazy $$$$ disposable income.

At 120-130k plus a pop, speaking honestly it will never happen in my world. Shelby is laughing all the way to the bank.

While I agree, I do think it would be bad ass.
And you know that Toyota would hold it’s value much better than that Furd! Although I would have to be one rich mofo to buy something like that.

I could be wrong but I don’t think Toyota ever will because of reliability concerns. That’s honestly the number one reason people buy their vehicles and if you take that away, there leaves very little reason to stick with the brand.

$30k of that Raptor is the Shelby name alone. You're buying a name.

You can build one sweet Tundra for $116,000 with a full cage and long travel.
