    Bought my 2017 platinum a few months ago, Just had 5k service done. This is my first truck, and I'm seeing that I will be spending ALOT of money if I keep looking at this site. I want to put new tires on. either 295s or 305s. I want to lift the truck as little as possible to make those fit and look good. There are SO many lift types out there, I wanted to get some opinions on type and brand. I wont say money is no object, but I do believe in you get what you pay for, so I don't want crap.... as far as what I have done so far... TRD dual exhaust, Spray in Liner, Nerf Bars, LEER Tri-Fold Tonneau cover, 100% GSR LED Lighting, Clear Bra over entire front of truck all the way to the doors. I'll post pictures this weekend when I am home for once while the sun is up....

    Everything. Literally.
    ToyTec makes awesome suspension products for Tundras. You can probably fit said tires with a 3/1 level and spacers or a 3” full lift from ToyTec.
    Personally, I run a 3” BOSS system from toytec and with 1” spacers and a little trimming I’m able to run 35/12.5/20s with almost no rubbing.

    Hope this helps.

    I want to do a full suspension lift, new shocks and all. I don't want a super stiff feel, this truck will be on the highway a lot. but I want to take it off road and have fun on the weekends, so I want something that will hold up well... im thinking around $6k or so I am willing to spend on the lift, tires and wheels...

    295’s are great too. Just a tad under 35” but almost pretty damn identical. What offset will you be running? Are you looking for an adjustable or non-adjustable lift? I run the @ToyTec Lifts BOSS kit and have it cranked to 3.5” on 305/70/18 (35”)

    Welcome Jason. Sounds like a job for Fox, King, ADS, Icon coiil overs and rear shocks. You'll lift it about 3 front Toytec shackles in the rear for 1" and you should be quite happy with the ride and performance.

    a 3/1 level will do great. Hit up Toytec....I'm rocking the BOSS 2.0 with rear resi's and love the ride on the highway AND offroad. You'd do even better going with their Radflo's from what I hear.

    Also, 33's on a 3/1 won't look good. I'm running 275/70r18 AT's and they look ALMOST too small. I'm knocking it up to 34-35 as soon as these tires go bald. Take it from me.....go no less than 34's.

    If you lift it, you’ll regret keeping 33”. It’ll look like it skipped leg day.

    when you guys say coil over, I understand what that is... but is there a specific one I should be looking at? I like the idea of an adjustable one, so I can fine tune my lift later if needed... I looked at some from FOX and the set was over $4K... I want quality.... but that is crazy... can you guys post some links of the ones you are talking about please?

    Toytec BOSS 2.0 or toytec radflo (BOSS 2.5) quality and won’t break the bank.

    Look up toyteclifts.com and you’ll see all the options they have. The bosses are thread adjustable (best IMO) and pm @ToyTec Lifts they’ll steer you in the right direction!

    Some of these guys have some good ideas and might know better than me but , also check out Bilstein 5100 which is a step above the factory TRD Bilstein set up. Also check out the Bilstein 6112. This set up is more similar to what a TRD pro comes standard with. Both are adjustable. Welcome to the gang. Watch your wallet, the MOD demon might take it all. Good luck with your choice

    Just keep in mind you'll also need to replace your spare tire if you go bigger. You might think about getting a set of 5 wheels and tires and doing a 5 wheel rotation. That's already about $3k. If you aren't installing the suspension yourself, you can expect $500-1k on installation. That should leave you just enough for the Toytec Radflo's with rear RR's and some UCA's.

    There’s no shortage of choices for the suspension and twice as many opinions!

    A solution that some have found acceptable is the TRD Pro suspension. Not adjustable but engineered specifically for the Tundra, it works well.

    2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
    This should give you almost 2” of lift. CB shims could gain you another 1”
    The good thing about these are they are specifically engineered for your Tundra, they are a 3 stage progressive shock (light action when light is needed and hard action when heavy hits occur), and a good quality product.
    The bad thing about these is mostly the price and the fact that they are not adjustable. For me and a lot of people, lack of adjustment doesn’t matter, I don’t want to mess with it and won’t even if I could. The inability to re-build them comes up as a negative too, but I’m not absolutely sure that these cannot be rebuilt.
    So far these have been running on Pro trucks for 3 years and I have yet to hear about any needing a rebuild.

    You can get a lot more bang for your buck IMO.
    I run the BOSS kit (which is adjustable) and it’s valved specifically for the Tundra and less overall costs.
