I just bought colorlugs, which are basically a rubber cap that you slip over your lugs. I haven’t installed my black wheels yet, so I haven’t put them on yet, but I think I will like them. Cheap and you won’t get the socket marks ruining your new black lugs. Thought I would throw it out there in case.....

Finally jumped on the wireless charging bandwagon...

Took the charger apart so there is less plastic between the coils and the phone. Charges nicely even with my case on.

Some have used tape, some have used glue. I decided to leave some of the plastic “fins” so I could just zip tie it down.

Interesting...I sort of like this idea because I have locking lugs right now, this woud allow me to keep them. Wonder how these hold up

Does the hypertech gain lost power back from larger tires? Can you please elaborate? I always thought hypertech just fixes your speed reading...

It fixes the gear to tire ratio and restores your shift points. It doesn't add more horsepower but it does seem to remove any sluggishness when moving to larger tires by making the corrections mentioned above. It also fixes MPG reporting, at least as well as the onboard could do it anyway. Totally worth $200.

I think the material should hold up for a long time. It's just a rubber cap, you may even be able to find something similar at a hardware store, etc.

Just be aware you may need a different size diameter for the 4 locking lugs. They offer all sizes on their page.

Yeah but it's ultra easy. Took 30 minutes and that includes spending 5 minutes trying to remember where I put my set of plastic trim tools. 3 screws and some clips.

Been real busy lately. So much for distraction from buying from the build thread lol.

Comparison photo. Stock on passenger, gtr led kit for headlights and Baja fogs.20171208_152421.jpg 20171208_164407.jpg Love this combo. What a huge difference, I can finally see now when I shut off my BD 30" S8 as a highbeam. Couldn't be happier with this combo unless I paid at least 5x the price for retro. 1700 lux, outperforms 35 watt hid, not quite the 55 but close. This combo is insanely bright.20171208_172054.jpg

Update for any who care on the DAP tune now that i put on @least 200 miles. Loving it, gets better everyday I drive it as the ecu continues to learn since loading tune. The tow haul combo is insane in power. Without tow haul mode it still has very noticeable power gains, but it's not jumpy like tow haul. It's nice and smooth gear shifting. I certainly do not need a dyno to confirm the power gains amongst all the other benefits and improvements. It feels like a different truck.

Lower gears shift quicker, while higher stay tad longer. No longer feels like the truck is being held back while coasting. Def a nice combo. Punching it at 60 in blink of eye get over 100 mph. High end torque is greatly improved. Mpg is up 1 with driving aggressive. Smooth as silk shift points, zero searching for gears. The power I felt I lost from the big heavy tires and winch has come back and even surpassed way beyond. Will update as ecu continues to adjust, but so far, very impressed and I'm loving it.

For anyone looking for increased power, especially those of u that went with bigger heavier tires and feel a bit sluggish since, that along with the truck searching for gears I'd highly recommend this tune. The website can explain the benefits of the tune in greater detail. That plus all the testimonies from customers. My butt in the seat of my truck is telling me all the claims are true and as the miles rack up it will just get better and better.

I haven't raced a competitors make with the tune yet. But it feels like not only will we get them off the line, but normally in the higher gears when they have a tendency to catch up and walk on us, this will no longer happen. I believe this tune will allow our tundras to not only get them off the line but it will allow us to continue to spread the gap walking on them in the higher gears too. I honestly don't believe a competitors make could beat my truck unless it either had a tune too or a s.c.

I'll update in greater detail when I feel I've put on enough miles to where it feels plateaued. Since the tune on Sunday last week everytime I've got into the truck to drive I can feel the truck getting better gains and improvements each time I drive it. So far this fn tune is worth every penny already and seems to keep getting better yet. Seems like when over a couple hundred different people all have the same things to claim and positive praise about the benefits from the tune, all those people might just be onto something.

@darkknight2014 where u at buddy? Dap tune gets my stamp of approval, no doubt about it. Pull the trigger, u will not regret it.

You would need the same size I have, I selected the truck/SUV size, but haven't tried them on the lugs yet to confirm. I'm currently rocking steelies with my stock tires until I make a decision about putting my stock tires back on my TRD wheels or buying new tires to put on them.

If you want me to check, send me a pm so I don't forget. I can test them out and send you a pic.
