Does anyone with inside industry info know who make the TRD Pro wheels? I really like the minimalist look and all black. They look great on almost any color Tundra. Thx I appreciate any info.

OK...I'll ask another way: Are there any wheels out there that look very similar to the TRD Pro wheels? I'd prefer all black, including bolts, other hardware. you'd think this would be easy but every wheel I've seen so far, sans TRD Pros, aren't all black. Thanks for any info.

not that I know of. i looked as well/. I finally settled for the 18" trd wheels. I really wanted the 20' s or 22'S like you and couldnt find them. I like the look of stock but a bit more sportier if possible

If there were a cheaper option then the TRD Pro rims wouldn’t cost so much!

I’ll be selling mine in a couple months. You could always purchase some regular TRD rims and black them out as well.

In the past BBS has made some of the Tundra wheels. I don't know if these are made by BBS though.

Thanks for that Intel. I'll look in that realm. Centerline makes some cool truck wheels now as well. OG :)

You can buy normal TRD wheels and have them powder coated black like I did. Then buy the TRD Pro center caps and viola. I haven't mounted my tires back on them yet, waiting for a good deal on tires....

That's a good deal! They will look sick.

Taking advantage. I can't wait to see them, you should post up some pics when they are done. I think I'm going to get my wife's wheels done too, probably in the summer though.

    Thanks. Not at all, $60/wheel.

Thanks. It's hard to say. I had them powdercoated "gloss black". I haven't compared them side by side to the factory black finish of someone else's wheel, but I would assume they are about the same.

2019+ TRD Pro wheels are made by BBS and they are forged. Also, ridiculously light.

Those look great. I’d say they look better than stock Pro. Have they scratched at all? I’d guess they are harder than the finish on the stock Pro rims?

I have minor scratches from cleaning. I have only used microfiber mitt to clean them. I'm pretty meticulous with them. I expected minor scratches because I went with gloss, but was hoping I could be the exception I guess, haha. I used to dry them with an absorber but now I "dry" them with quick detail spray and a microfiber towel.

I'm guessing no scratches on the matte finish?

I am guessing you have much less scratching than the stock Pro rims though. I saw several that are very scratched - and the owners are quite meticulous. No scratches that I can see on the matte. I actually don’t have to touch mine. Usually a power wash (usually only after in the mud), foam cannon maybe or a little simple green if there is brake dust, and then a rinse and they look good. I sometimes hit them with the tire shine I am using and it adds a little more deep shine.

Probably, I would hope that the powder coat is more durable than the factory finish.

I'm glad the matte finish still looks good, you knew what you were doing when you went with that!
