Swung by my local dealer a minute ago and noticed all the 2018 TSS models did not have the new headlights, instead they had a version of the previous headlights with a LED DRL. For those that don't know a TSS is a SR5 with an overpriced appearance package that includes a choice of black 20" wheels with KO2 tires or silver 20" wheels with street tires only available in the GS Region and they sticker damn near a Limited. Here's a picture, the silver one us a 18 SR5 TRD OR and the white one is a SR5 TSS.

Some have the LED headlights, some don't on the SR5.

The new LED headlights come on the SR5’s only if it has the TRD off road package.

Ah ok, that explains it. I haven't done any 2018 research because I bought my 2017 in March and see no need to upgrade although I would like to have the headlights.

There's few threads on everyone upgrading the lights, even people making the harness to plug and play.

I think you can add the new OEM LED headlights for under 1K including the harness.

    They are worth it.

On the 17s the TSS had a much higher rebate than the TRD OR. After rebate my TSS ended up at the same price as the OR I was going to get and I got KO2s which I needed.

Well the TSS is all done in house by gulf states dealers, so they Usually start with the SR trim and upgrade from there.

SR5 if not mistaken. Also there are 2 versions. A sport and OR. Before I bought mine I was only aware of the sport version.

I'm a little further north of the gulf states ones, so I see them a lot. Yea they could be starting with the SR5 base, I know the SR is what comes with the halogen w/led strip now, like the 14-17 platinum. Sr5 you have base, TRD Off-road and the new Sport trim(hoping we get some at my dealer soon). Gulf states have always done their own thing down there, Luckily its not as hard to gt info on them as it used to be, some of the older shit was a pain to deal with in the shop.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
All the TSS (gulf states) and the XSP, XSP-X, XP (southeast) versions are all delivered to their respective dealers as SR5 DC or SR5 CM models. From there, the dealership adds the trim pkg (wheels/tires, running boards, grille, fender flares, graphics/emblems, etc.)
The TRD OR come from Toyota with the trim packages/graphics included.

Depending on the dealership, you may find that certain features (i.e., headlights, interior trim) might differ slightly depending on the base models they use.
As an ex. I met a guy with a XP (CM) that had a sun roof, and originally came with cloth seating?! o_O He then added the leather.
I've also seen other XSP (CM) with no sun roof, but they had leather seats. I've also seen a '13 XSP-X with leather seats and had the "XSP-X" logo embroidered on the seats.

So it doesn't surprise me to see different headlights...I guess they all could be a little different.

The grey one is a TRD off-road.

But dang you're right that white one is only a couple thousand cheaper than my limited was.
