I haven't been to Flagstaff since 1995. How is it in relation to Sedona? I've been there more recently

    Search no more. Tucson, AZ!

We cross everything off your list except for the "intense" heat. It's a dry heat in the summer so go in the shade and you're fine. The other 9 months are 70's all day every day. Surrounded by 3 mountain ranges that provide heaps of hiking, biking, off-roading, camping, snowboarding, hunting, etc. And if that's not enough Northern AZ is just a few hours away!

Did I mention cost of living and gas are some of the cheapest in the nation?! A little goes a long way which means more for your Tundra and happiness. The women love warm temps and aren't shy of showing it.

And best part - I'M HERE!

I remember my visits to AZ in July..hotel room AC couldn’t keep up with the 96* temps, at 11PM.
I do like AZ though. The roads are much better than ours! Just befriend a good AC guy and keep mats around your tires if you park outside all day

Sedona is nice but has more of a spiritual vibe to it. Similar to Big Sur in CA. Vortex crystals and yogis are common there. Flagstaff has more of a normal town vibe to it whereas Sedona seems to be more touristy and geared towards the modern hippy type in my opinion. Flagstaff still gives you elevation so you get more seasonal changes like a warm season and snowy season. Both are in the same state so the state itself has some laws that are more appealing to outdoorsmen. Pro hunting. Pro firearms etc.

Also, I saw you mention Ashville NC. It has changed dramatically. If you want the old Ashville. Look at Greenville SC. Just over the border by maybe 45 min. It is like Ashville was before every hipster east of the Mississippi descended on Ashville and it's much cheaper for housing and rent(right now).

Were these visits always in Phx? Tucson runs about 10 degrees cooler than Phx due to the elevation. You can run a swamp cooler and be fine for most of the summer

I've been talking to Noah (my son) for months now about Tahoe. He's on board. i just need to find a job there. I have plenty of skills, lots of experience, and can lie on a resume really well. It shouldn't be much of a problem.

If i moved there you would have a place to chill when your cot breaks down

Ya. The other day I went to my local gastro pub in my Austin Martin and lost my scarf inside. And on top of that they charged me more than usual for my mocha latte frappe capaindochina imported from the turd of a Thai elephant. I didn't leave any Bitcoin tip.

I don't know why anyone is saying Texas.....there isn't one place in Texas that fits that whole list. No snow.....no mountains (not like the sierras or rockies)....it's hot and humid....js
