Just recently purchased a 2017 SR5 CM 4x4. The chrome must go! Has anyone had their stock grill, surround, and hood bulge sprayed with Kevlar or Rhino? If so, could you post em’? Thanks!

Had my grill and chrome bulge sprayed with linex. Really like it so far. Has held up great.

    Is that textured or smooth?

Looks in the first photo like it is textured. I does give the truck a more rugged look and blends in well with the TRD grille.

Not criticizing anybody (taste is a personal thing), just a question. Why is most everybody so hyped up about the TRD Pro grille? I can see replacing the surround and bulge with color coded pieces but most center pieces do look pretty decent to me.

Textured just like a normal linex bed liner. Looks almost matte from a distance.

I replaced mine because my original got broken. I didn't mind the original center piece. Had planned on getting it color matched but then went the linex route.

Thanks! I was a little nervous when I dropped the grill and bulge off, but very happy when I picked them up.

I am debating if I get my front bumper corners coated, it would match the front center piece and my rear bumper is already color matched from the factory.

What mostly keeps me from doing it is that from what I read here it is a PIA to remove the front corners.
