Officially going the route of ATV with trailer. Going to get a dual side load quad trailer. Seem to be the smallest trailers for two.
    Something like this:

So I've been procrastinating and need to get my truck into emissions so i can register it. It threw one of the AIP codes when i first got it, but the check engine light went away for now. I've got a AIP bypass kit to fix that issue...

should I be worried when I go to emissions that my truck will fail? even with no light? if so, does anyone have a scangauage, or some other way, locally that could clear these for me?

at least thinking of going back to advanced auto to have them read before i go for sure.

    thoughts?

I think @Thegr8punkin has some tips and tricks for passing emissions. At least I remember Connor posting something about emissions inspection. I could be wrong.

In Texas as long as the check engine light doesn't show....you'll pass inspection and emissions check....hope it's the same in CO

Varies. Some counties/cities do not require emissions..like where you stayed, Coloroado Springs.

They wont be able to determine its bypassed from inspection. They aren't that detailed. Just make sure the code doesn't show up on a scanner and you will be good. If it does, then clear it and hope it doesnt show up when they run emissions.

Ok I’m not familiar enough with the emissions system on these to be 100% so take it with a grain of salt, (covering my own ass here) I don’t quite remember what the aip does, some one else help John with that.

No light and you should be good to go. You can always take it in to auto zone and have them read codes though if you request them to clear them they will ether refuse completely or make you hit the button to clear it yourself so they don’t take responsibility for clearing it, if you know how to use one your self, which I have no doubt you are, I’d just go in and ask to borrow their scanner and do what you need to to on it.

If you take it and it fails with no cel on, then (depending how it fails) I’ll walk you through how to get around the test. Not sure I want to describe a felony on a publicized site ;) jk

And yes I had to get creative with getting the Mr2 to pass. Good memory Jose :)

I think what I'll do is install the AIP bypass kit that i have, go to autozone or wherever and ask them to clear the codes, then go get emissions tested. emissions are stupid.

    That's a lot of poles, LOL. Here's a hint:

Toilets flush counterclockwise where it came from . . . (and don't give me a science lesson that the Coriolis effect doesn't happen in toilets, LOL)
