Has anyone had a howling noise come from their cowl if, and only if, you’re running the A/C on recirc and it’s very windy out? It basically sounds like the outside air being taken in blows by the door used for recirculating. Actually, the A/C doesn’t even have to be on - just recirc selected. The first couple times it happened I thought it was the damn antenna. Now running the stubby, I’ve narrowed it down. Hopefully there’s a fix for this because I spend way too much time behind the wheel to put up with that crap.

Sure it’s not from the windshield molding? That’s a common issue.

I’d search for the video for you but I’m currently in a food coma and can’t think straight.

I’m not convinced it’s NOT that...just seemed to change when I turned the recirc on/off today. I thought I was on to something. It sure sounds a lot like that. I suppose it could have been coincidence. Or hell, could be both. I appreciate you pointing me this direction though.

Maybe it's the windshield, but turning recirc on makes it worse as it stops air getting in through the air con system - kinda path of least resistance thing? Could be way off though (by no means an expert!)
