I've tried to run in on the trip today. Had to go to Portland and back and with TowHall on, with 70-90mph had 15.7 average, without it - 14.8. For sure it'be nice to keep it on all the time

I might just try it for a while. I still can't imagine how it would improve fuel economy since it holds the gears longer and raises your engine's RPMs.

    Paulskie,

What kind of driving was your trip (distance, interstate, city, or secondary roads)?

Just coming from a 2017 Tacoma to my 2017 Tundra, I’m way happy with the power.
Had to use ECT on the Tacoma a lot, because the Tacoma is such a pig. I will try it on the Tundra just for fun.
