looking to get off of these stocks and onto some 20" wheels. whats the biggest tire/offset i can put without lifting or cutting? i eventually want to have a 6" lift and run something like a 35". but that will likely be after this next set of tires run bald.

also i keep seeing while shopping for wheels 5x150 or 5x5.5... will 5x5.5 fit without adaptors?

what lift would you recommend on a budget?

    thanks for any advice.

for lifts i would talk to @ToyTec Lifts....tell them your budget and what you are looking for....they should be able to direct you to something you would like and can afford.

6-inch lift and 3-inch lift are totally different animals. Typically 6-inch lift requires cutting your frame. You have to decide what direction you want to go with.

18 inch vs 20 inch wheels have been discussed in many threads. Stock wheels come in in 17, 18, 20, depending what trim level your truck is. Deciding which wheel size to go with will also alter the direction you want to go.

I would say, if you value function over the looks, go with 3 inch lift. If you go off road, go with 18 (or even with 17--but you don't have too many wheel choices in 17s).

man, a 6 incher isn't something you want to skimp on especially since it involves cutting the frame. You're looking at at LEAST 2k without installation.

I'd definitely go with BDS, they have a solid product. Stay away from rough country.

Bilstein 5100 is probably the best lift under $500 (front and rear).

33's would probably be the biggest tire stock.

No 5x5.5 will not fit. And you usually need a much lower offset for a 6” lift. It’s difficult to fit those same wheels without lifting or cutting. So you need to decide which direction you want to go before you buy new wheels.
