Zero point calibration and yaw sensor washer after lift?

Came across some interesting articles on another tundra forum. I've read about the zero point calibration and the yaw washer mod. After my 5" lift and 35's, I have not experienced having my vsc kick on however I do feel like the truck got somewhat sluggish and I literally see my fuel gauge dropping in real time (slight exaggeration). Not that I didn't expect a slight power loss and slight mpg loss after the lift and tires, but if doing the zpc and yaw sensor trick would help bring back a bit of power and help restore some mpg, why not give it a shot?

With that said, can someone post up some pointers or how to as to going about doing these 2 mods? I'm sure it would help others as much as it would help me. Thanks! Happy Friday!

 

Not sure what the yaw sensor trick is but I highly doubt messing with the yaw or doing a zpc is going to bring back any power. Gotta re-gear.

 

It is recommended you do the ZPC. I did it with a 3" lift just for ease of mind. It might help alittle with acceleration but the mpg is probably from the new tire weight. I did the paper clip method and was super easy.

And its either the ZPC or the washer method, not both.

re-gear.
37s possibly.
coachbuilder add-ons.
DAP tuning would be nice.
chrome delete everything.
clazzios.
exhaust.
headlight retros or spyders.

for now atleast... mods never end

 

Ill give the zpc a shot. Would you happen to know where I can find a decent how to? on tundratalk its not allowing me to view attachments for some reason. Id hate to jump the wrong leads...
