Does anyone have the Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust package on their truck. I want to know if it sounds good before I put it on my 2010 4.6L Tundra.

Are you concerned with your truck having a bad drone while driving it down the highway?

No. Does it sound good and not too loud to where I wake up my neighbors. I have to leave home and weld at about 5 am sometimes.

Question...does a true dual or is a TD bad for a Tundra?

Have you checked out the Flowmaster website? If I were you I would look at the Special 50. Not too loud and no resonating in cab. Tow/Haul wakes mine up somewhat. I think the American Thunder is pretty loud.

With stock exhaust manifolds and no supercharger the best way to Go is single exhaust.

A single flow thru style muffler would make better low end torque and overall power.

    Check out bamufflers.

Has anyone had the Flowmaster American thunder series on their truck. I think it’s a super 40 which I know is pretty loud but has anyone had any problems with the product not living up to the expectations.
