Replacing front shocks question

    anyone that has replaced the front shock on their 3rd gen 4x4 tundra, did you take the lower ball joint connection loose or the spindle/upper control arm connection loose? I’ve heard both ways. The issue with the lower ball joint connection is that torque on that is like 225ftlbs. I don’t have a torque wrench that will go that high. Just wondering how you guys have done it. Thanks
