    Good watch, I've been happy with the Bilsteins. The ride is firm but not harsh but gets smooth on the highway

    Hi y’all, quick bump to this thread as I’m looking at the Eibach Stage 1 kit with shocks and springs (non-coilover) for only $671 on Amazon. Trying to improve the ride because my current setup is 20x9 fuel vapor rims with the +1” offset (weird that they measure it in inches, but that’s how they’re listed), 305/55 Toyo AT3s, and only 2.5” rough country spacer lift up front. Very light off road and mostly a pavement princess, so I don’t necessarily need the off road performance Billy’s give you and think I want the smoother ride from the Eibachs. Question I’ve got is if the springs will force me into a 2.75” lift (wouldn’t be opposed to that as I still get some very minor rub when backing up and 75-80% hooked), and if so, am I still within geometric tolerances to not need UCAs, diff drop, etc?

    edit to add that I also have the TRD Pro cat back exhaust and Pro grill with the OEM TSS sensor window

    May not get caster in spec but there are tradeoffs. Didn't read through your backspacing and wheel/tire choices re rub. On 275/70/R18 (33.2") tires on 9” wide wheels with 4.53 backspacing / -12 offset had to trim the front fender plastic a little.

    Didn't realize what truck you were planning this on and don't know how those shocks and height will work on that Gen so definitely can ask Eibach tech about your plans.

    I have only put about 100 miles on my Eibach - bottom perch with Dobby c30 , I would say I got 2.25" level. They Got rid of Toyota lean. They are still pretty stuff. But enjoy the firm ride. The kyb"s were fantastic. I held onto them in case lift starts to piss me off. But no creaks or topping out. Truck looks way better. Prob going to add tc armor and try to call truck done.

    The Eibach are DEFINITELY stiff on small stuff and slow driving
    They are firm, planted, predictable, and have a commanding feeling. They are however, very VERY stiff on small stuff like 2" cracks in pavement, buckled concrete, small pot holes. Riding around 20-55mph range they feel like hell in most bumps. When you are on the highway at speeds they somehow smooth out. I certainly wish they could have dialed things back a good bit on the small bumps and slow speed driving.

    Found them to be firm but less stiff than the billlys (both with stock springs and at highest perch). A welcome and expected result based on research prior to install.

    I read that, which is why i ordered the Eibach adjustables for my truck. Afterwards i told myself
    "how the hell are people driving these things and claiming they ride great"
    I wish i hadnt trashed my OEM shocks, i pulled them and threw them away while the truck sat on jack stands for two weeks waiting on parts. Once i put the Eibach on i wanted my OEM shocks back so bad but they were gone. I've regretted it ever since.

    To be clear :
    Truck rides like a dream on the highway at speeds. Clicks off miles like no problem. Cracks in the interstate and pot holes are "semi harsh" but tolerable.
    Truck rides like a freightliner dump truck with T-bar suspension and 110psi in the tires on slow speed stuff 20-55mph. Almost intolerable.... a 2" rise on buckled concrete at 45mph will cause the dash to wiggle up and down, you can visually see the dash take a hit so hard it flexes the whole dashboard behind the windshield. This is with GREAT tires and low pressure that had zero rattles, creaks, dash movement prior to the Eibach shocks.

    Maybe folks are comparing to billys not stock. What ride height and springs did you use?

    The ProTruck Lift system is what comes loaded with springs. Its the same adjustable shocks, just with Eibach spring already ready to bolt on.

    I kept my stock kyb's. Im going to keep Eibach's /dob combo on for 5k and see if I want to switch back. I like that it practically illleminated brake dive which was sketchy on OEM setup. On bottom clip I got 2" of lift. Settled about a quarter inch. Truck is level, looks so much better. Good turn in , and way better body control. Have not had time to really road test them just yet with work schedule. It's a 2nd vehicle, so a stiffer ride is not a deal breaker. I do want to get it out on some trails. I think they made these for dual cabs and I have a earlier model RC. I was expecting 1.5-1.75 of lift. I'll update after I break them in.

    @shifty` I’m able to get this kit for about 1150 out the door for my farm tundra. We both know this isn’t the crème of the crop setup but since your familiar with my farm truck build, I feel this might not be a bad alternative and I like the idea of a fully adjustable coil over front set up.

    I’ve been looking at the 5100 upfront with 888 coils and then was offered to just get this set up for a few hundred more and it includes an add a leaf. I know a new leaf pack from Deaver, ATS, Alcan would be best, but I don’t feel it’s necessary at this time.

    Curious on your thoughts of this package and product.

    I'd recommend 4600's, lift springs with new hats/isolators and HD leafs instead.

    Still running it and still abusing it. I'm at about 2.5" now. I'd ditch the AAL that comes with it and go with the 1.5" progressive pack from wheelers offroad.
