@Nicklovin Thanks for the offer to let me borrow your impact. I got it done by hand with a wrench. As you can see from my pic i wouldnt have been able to get an impact on there anyways!

For NA beers, i honestly like cheap Old Milwaukees. Out of all the cheap beers its my favorite. The Athletic ones arent bad either but theres some belgian style ones at Total Wine that are pretty damn good

My favorite beers when I still drank alcohol were Belgian beers. My mom grew up on a farm there and been there several times growing up. Turns out, a bunch of the belgian beers all make NA versions now! Havent been able to find them anywhere yet, but hopefully come to the states soon. Leffe, Hoegaarden, Duvel, Chimay, and others all have NA versions now!

Cut the old bolt out. No use for them.
To get the new one in on that side, I used a ratcheting box wrench to turn it and help drive it in through the bushings and move it along the lines.

I thought you said you were buying new bolts? If you’re reusing then don’t cut them. Haha.

I made and installed an LSPV lift bracket out of an angle bracket I found for cheap. So far I’m pleased. I feel like I’ve noticed a shift in brake bias, and like it.

I think when me and some Tacoma World buddies did mine back in 2018, we just beat the UCAs with a BFH til the UBJs popped off. We never removed the spindles from the truck.
It's amazing the PO's TRQ LBJs lasted another 60k miles, plus several off roading adventures, after the assault. :burp::anonymous:

I have an extra chrome front bumper at the house, but he won't use it either. Got it free from @JasonC.
The plan is to paint it black and add the sweet fog light valence I bought for it, then swap it onto the 03. I've got a fog switch for 00-02 that I'll use to wire the extra fog lights.

But I got called into work on my night off tonight and I been busy trying to button up as many projects on the 06 as possible, before Merus in October.

Maybe I should save time and money and leave it chrome. Probably not... But it looks kinda nice. I definitely gotta dye the top plastic piece. It's faded .
This pic just reminded me that I need to go back and reroute and loom my backup camera wire. When running the dome light power wire yesterday, I realized my backup cam wire was touching some metal lines. I'm not sure if brake or fuel. But I don't like it.

    This job is finally done!

It was not that fun at all, but the steering is much much better. This was a job that was worth the effort. Only cost me $50 and a lot of cusswords.

I did not. The foam wasn't vacuum sealed so it hadn't even crossed my mind to do so. The cover is stitched to a 1/4" piece of foam and that was mostly deteriorated thus the looseness. Adding the 1/4" back into it brought back the tightness to the cover.

Finished the bathroom yesterday IMG_1514.jpg IMG_1515.jpg And now I get to work on the truck again.

Wondering if this is a potential issue. Changing out the temp sensor and The clip on the new temp sensor is on the opposite side of where the clip was on the old one…IMG_1511.jpg
I can’t tighten it any further.

    Guy's,

I'm a fan of Toyota quality parts, brakes, head gaskets etc. With my experience, any Toyota aftermarket parts are like what Mike Meyers said "if it ain't made in Scotland it's claaap" My battery died at a parts store 2 miles from my house, jumped it to get truck home, charged it overnight. The next day, put a volt meter on the battery with the engine running and I saw only 12.5 instead of 14 or more volts? Looking at at my V6 tundra's alternator I do not see any sign of of it being made by Nippondenso or Denso, alternator is some sort of aftermarket claaap. Now what? can't use it for a factory rebuilt core, what to do, buy a used core and turn it in? we are talking over $300 to replace my alternator. Want a factory quality Denso OEM part in my truck, reasonably cheap solution? just buy a used Denso alternator and replace it when it fails? Upgrade to 100 amp while I'm at it?

    Stephen

    Damn! Really nice work.
I love the cabinets and the backsplash. Looks cozy.

Sorry but I don’t have any insight on the temp sensor.

Ya maybe buy a cheapo off eBay as a core if it’s less than $80. Maybe just rebuild it for another $30, or send it in as a core and buy a denso off rockauto or somewhere.

Grab one from a junk yard and either use it if it works or trade it in as a core? Might as well upgrade it while you're swapping it.

I’m probably going to regret this but I bought a super fancy Innova scan tool today. My OBD MX+ wasn’t working to connect to the advanced diagnostics, and customer service was useless, and would only add one response per day (no phone number).
I can’t read or reset my occupant sensor code or srs code so I don’t know if my passenger seat wiring works. Hopefully I can get more answers tomorrow or Tuesday.
