Love Trouble (1948). A fast-pace noir detective oldie.

Pirate Radio (2009). HBO. You expect a good soundtrack and it doesn’t disappoint. Found out afterwards I watched the US version which is cut by 20 minutes.

Allegiant (2016). AMC. Saw the first two when they came out. Now catching up. It was entertaining.

Fiend Without a Face (1958). Sundance. 50’s horror-SciFi with a cult status. Campy but entertaining.

Okja (2017). Netflix. Except for the annoying high-pitch voices of Gyllenhaal and another actress, I found the rest of the film very enjoyable. Paul Dano stood out for me.

Blood Simple. (1984). HBO. First full feature film by Coen brothers, and film debut of Frances McDormand, who married Joel before the film debut. It was a good watch for an 80’s film. It released the year I graduated from high school, yet never heard of the film till recently

Wild Style (1982). Tubi. Considered the first full length film to feature hip hop music and break dancing, but the acting and directing is, mediocre at best.

Rock ‘n’ Roll High School (1979). Great soundtrack, predominately the Ramones. Silly storyline and cheesy laughs.

Cheeks (Chief) of War - what I call it, IYKYK. Reading intensive, lots of subtitles...

Alien Earth - got so many questions, but suspending all my beliefs.

Terminal List: Dark Wolf - Pretty good tbh.. got me intrigued has a little more story than the first one.

An American in Paris (1951). Tubi. Classic musical. Kelly’s character is quite annoying. Newcomer Leslie Caron is great dancer but gave weak acting performance.

The Ladykillers (1955). Classic Comedy Channel. Good watch for Brit black comedy.

The Artist (2011). Plex. This was very a good watch. I didn’t know this was a silent black n white film. Wasn’t liking that at first but I soon got into the characters and storyline. I found it deserving of the five Oscars it got.
