Dayum. I see a lot of frame patches that rusted through but no FF/WW. Was the rusted frame cut out first? And are you getting the new frame via the dealership or somewhere else? How much?

I can’t say for certain, I bought the truck this summer. I made the holes myself with a hammer knocking scale off. Scale hid a lot of the evidence of repair welds, this is after hammering and some wire brushing.

New frame is from a shop in Iowa that drives out to Cali and brings a trailer load of frames back a couple times a year. They seem really honest and charge fair prices. He offers to replace several suspension components with no labor up charge. I’ll put the initial quote up that listed out full options. If you don’t want/need any suspension components you could be swapped for ~$5300. I’ll follow up with business name in a few months if I have a good experience.

That is a very fair price. Would you share the name of the shop? I've got a friend who just bought a 2006 DC with a rotted frame and he's still trying to figure out whether to sell or keep and try to swap frames.

POR-15 does work well but you need to touch it up every year or two and it doesn’t last forever. I’ve had mine go through 8 New England winters before it needed a major touch up. The trick is do the prep and put on two coats with a final coat of regular paint for anything UV exposed.

I do like the idea of using Raptor liner with a phosphoric acid prep though; especially for the sound deadening feature.

Pennington Metal Works. I can’t fully recommend until I see the quality of work, but the owner Chad seems like a good honest guy. He is very familiar with Toyotas and has 3 himself. https://www.penningtonmetalworks.com/

Didnt realize there was prizes, when do I get my medal of dishonor

I’ve thought about doing this same exact business for at least the past 10 years. Buy clean west coast frames (both toyota and jeep YJ, TJ, ect) then transport them back east for sale.
