Refer to the second pic in the post below. I don’t think it changed between the 2.9L and 3.0L.

    Well another day down.
I had my pops helping me and that was a big help but didn't get as much done as I thought we would.
I was cursing Whipple for a lot of the day. Their instruction need some fucking work.
They are overnighting me (only a few hours away) the nipple for the fpr, and the correct spacers for the ic reservoir.

The oil cooler lines were a bitch....my dad was working on that and I think he had 2 of 4 double zip ties that bolt on backwards.....he wasn't happy when I pointed it out. I see why he did it, but never the less...

Once we got the belt on we skipped the IC stuff and went straight for the tank.
The evap line coming off the backtop of the tank was a bitch both ways.

Once we got the lines disconnected, dropping the tank was pretty smooth....use two floor jacks.
Removing the ring to get to the canister was a bitch at first.
(Anyone reading this in the future, apply downward pressure to the top plate as you're unscrewing. )
Once we got the canister out it was pretty fun swapping the pump.
We emptied about 8 or so gallons out of the tank to make it easier to install.
The middle strap pin was a bitch also, lol

All in all, tank probably took about 4hrs.

Tomorrow I should just have to do the IC stuff and then start doing all the flash and cycling before first startup.

To top things off, Comcast has an outage for like a huuge are, so trying to research stuff I have to go stand in the middle of the street. Bad timing.

Thanks everyone for your help today.

    Update

Intercooler is in and all piped. The hose coming off the top of the pump was tricky but got it.

I've got to swap the plugs with some IHK22's and I'll be ready to start adding fluids back in.

    None at this point.
    Quick question....
I ran across some mods to improve my Magnuson SuperCharger.
The Wife had a fit when I said I wanted to upgrade the Magnuson.
I'm gonna forget about Her concerns....
Wasn't it new fuel injectors and a smaller pulley?
Again....what She doesnt know wont hurt her......

So I found my local Sniv Speed Shop and gave my truck and blower to a nice man, his wife, and cute puppy.

    Speed Shop Magic has started.

I'm in the process of filling coolant back in.

I've got a constant drip of coolant coming out from above the transmission pan. I can't see where it could be coming from. Everything on the top of the engine around the blower looks dry

The battery is still disconnected, so I'm guessing it's a factory line?

I don't remember touching those lines.

But, when I first noticed the drip, it looked like it was coming from a "puck" to the passenger side of the trans pan....then it started dripping from the top of the pan.

I'm getting into that pants crapping territory.

I've got the radiator plugged (using one of those Lisle funnel kits) and seems like that slowed/stopped it. Which makes sense.
I reached around the back of the block from both sides as far as I could and can't feel anything wet.

You check the back of the blower where coolant lines go? Did you check the intercooler resi?

The back of the blower where those coolant lines go in/out feel completely dry.

I've only been filling through the radiator and I havent connected negative battery yet....would it be able to get through the intercooler system like that?
    The ic resi is empty.

Trace the lines up. They run right down that side. Or maybe a heater core hose?

I really wish I could post a picture but Comcast has been down for like 2 days now.

I don't think it's coming off of that puck. I cleaned everything up (radiator fill plugged) and then unplugged it and it's coming from the top of the pan.

The IC coolant system is independent of the engine coolant system. The coolant crossover that you changed at the front of the motor is just for hose routing and to clear the blower itself.

There are two little I rings at the back do the blower where the coolant flows through. Did you by chance pinch one or forget one? I’d also double check all the hose clamps by the reservoir and on the IC/Blower fitting.

    07BD1E03-1A36-4192-86BD-F6ED071E371C.jpg

Back of the motor there are a few coolant lines - one of which interfaces with the jumble of coolant crossover tubes and runs down the passenger side of the engine.

    B667D3D5-28C0-4B3C-9589-52476EDED93C.jpg

There’s also the big valley coolant crossover underneath the blower that occasionally leaks. Mine was leaking so I resealed it ‘while I was in there’, but it had 230k miles on it.. I suspect you would have noticed that leak before you installed the blower, but maybe not.

    B9646EF4-2518-4167-A1DE-164D60F51184.jpg

Also note that you opened up the coolant system so it may just be leakage from the work you’ve done and not because it’s actually leaking.

I'm not sure about any pinched o ring....the only thing I remember on the back of the underside of the blower was the intake gaskets. Where are those o rings (first picture with the duct tape)

It's gotta be at the rear of the engine/blower for the life of me I cant feel anything wet when I hurl myself onto the top of the engine and feel around behind it.

I'm going to double check the hoses for anything not connected but I doubt it.

Your second picture, where is that in the engine bay?

I checked the lines in the 3rd picture, the connection from soft to hard lines....everything looks dry and dirty.

Truck only has 40k miles and no signs of leaking prior.

There's not like an open air vent or anything? The truck is high in the front as I was filling it.

If front end is high. Possible passenger side of water crossover gasket leaking through valley to rear?

Holy fuck....I think that's it. I just looked at the crossover pipe and can see a little bit of coolant below it.

I may have spoke too soon.

I cleaned up under the crossover and pulled the stopper on the radiator and I can hear it dripping under the truck but nothing it's dry under the crossover

The coolant hoses from the valley pulled loose while doing the oil cooler lines?

Alright I think I may have figured it out. Doesn't look easy. (My Internet is back so picture)

I used a borescope to look under the blower like @Mdl mentioned.
I think it's one of the hoses to the pcv valve

    Solved:

    The culprit
    PXL_20250911_234507336.jpg

The line coming off the bottom of the throttle body was like throwing a hotdog down a hallway.
Cranked the clamp down and no more drip.

Thanks fellas. Was about ready to call in a stunt-cock to solve it.

Sorry to keep blowing you guys up.

I'm in the process of cycling the ic pump, trying to fill the system.
Not getting a lot of anything other than sound out of the pump. No bubbles coming out....did it take a lot of cycles?

Is the intercooler system closed? Should I be filling at the ic reservoir?
