How much per pound did you pay for your Tundra?

Example: I paid $5,000 for my 2007 RCSB

The truck weighs approximately 4,950 pounds, so I paid $1.01 per pound.

Which do I go by? The $7,500 I paid for the truck or the $7,400 in shop repairs to make it reliable and safe to drive?

I've put a few hundred in myself before and since three-week long shop visit. And I had it rollbacked to the shop since the previous owner had no idea when/if the timing belt had ever been changed. At 201,000 miles I refused to risk it.

Truck was "in service" with my business the day we got it out of the shop. We've put nearly 6,000 miles on it since we started driving it in April.

Truck runs fine and has met every challenge we have thrown at it with aplomb.
