What's wrong with the dash behind the wheel?

 

Yeah, the voice work around was mentioned.

My F150 had that. For me it was hands down faster, and preferred, to use the tactile buttons/knob.

Yes, and it is an infinitely better design. I hate the interior of the Y and 3, but can't afford an X or S on my best day.

Nothing? I was saying that the dash behind the wheel is better than lumping it all in one screen in the middle of the dash.

Tesla had a "MPG" monitor.

Yeah, yeah. They need to quit listing a starting price and then all the "up to" and optional stuff. If you are going to announce/advertise the lowest price I think the same add/article should only list what you get at that price. I hate marketing and social media.

My only question with the cybertaxi is if they put the radar back in it. If not, I don't trust full self driving. It's killed at least 3 motorcycle riders at night, and all would have been prevented if it had the radar to detect them instead of relying 100% on a camera.

But it's not a Rivian at all. They only share codeveloped software. The components and vehicle design are different.

That would be like calling a Ford a Chevy or vice versa because they collaborated on the 10 speed transmissions together.


The Scout being a VW EV will have way bigger problems than being related to the Rivian anyway. The nonsense engineering on the VW EV for the cabin air filter demonstrates that.
