Called Crutchfield today and they were extremely helpful. Hooked up receiver to battery and confirmed it turns on, then reflashed RR and reinstalled everything, now I’m getting power to the receiver. Although I swear all connections are the same - it’s working now!)

I’ve got Carplay connected and working as well as radio, but can’t get backup camera to work (black screen) and am having issues trying to update firmware, although Crutchfield gave me a few things to try there.

Note, I don’t have the OBD-II connected because I don’t plan to use the guages and don’t want to give up my Banks PedalMonster.

For those that had issues getting BU camera to work, what was the resolution?

    Show us your camera connection.

I have the pedal monster & OBD plug connected to my radio. You can get the splitter from Banks and it works flawlessly

I have their splitter for my Pedal Monster and my SG3. I dont need the OBD for the head unit since mine is a 2020. Off course......my bypass works properly now lol.

A few in the past had it plugged into the wrong RCA.

Found one additional harness I hadn’t hooked up, so now with everything plugged up it’s working. Appreciate everyone’s help!

I’ve ordered the Sat antenna adapter, although I’m not sure it’s necessary, but right now I’ve got two wires unused (aside from the sat). Doesn’t seem to be causing any issues.

Last thing I need to do is run the wire for the mic, but that’ll be a job for another day. Where are y’all placing that on the A-Pillar?

Here’s a picture of the unused plugs behind the dash:

Regarding the mic, you can mount it anywhere but most folks stick it to the top of the steering column or, if it has a clip, to the visor.

There's a company that makes mics which can fit in the factory location and work with Pioneer radios. Check them out. Great customer svc.

The mic that came with my Pioneer had a cord long enough to route up the A pillar and into the overhead console where the factory mic sits. It was an extra half hour or so to do that.

If I recall, the gray one is for the USB, and for the other 2, one is satellite/GPS and the other is the Sirius XM antenna.
